Intel is planning two more iterations of the Centrino 2, in an attempt to better capture the entry-level market. For their Montevina platform, they'll be offering the Celeron 585, a 2.16GHz unit for around $107 (in quantities). A slower-speed version, the 575, will also be available at 2.0 GHz and come in around $86.

Besides clock speeds, the two CPUs are essentially the same with TDPs of 31W, a 667MHz FSB and 1MB of L2 cache. These will come in addition to the other fifteen CPUs they had planned for release later this year, though it has not been detailed if these latecomers will be included in the initial launch.
