Another botnet owner has been found, arrested and is now facing jail time. Robert Bentley, 21, is accused of infecting many machines, particularly those owned by an European company, controlling the machines remotely through the malware infections. Bentley is facing a $250,000 fine and up to a decade in prison in the U.S. where he was located when he launched the attacks.

Late last year, the FBI arrested 8 people for operating botnets, as part of a larger plan to reduce the number of these groups around the world.
