EFiX OS X-installing USB device details emerge
Yesterday was the day that EFiX promised their OS X-installing USB dongle would be available to the general public. Though buying information has yet to surface, their site has been updated with some additional details, including a product page for the desktop version of the device and a list of compatible hardware.
Also, under the list of products, we now see some non-working links for laptop and PCI versions of the device plus an intriguing link for “complete systems” (presumably a la Psystar). There’s not much more information beyond this but EFiX certainly has managed to drive up expectation for its USB dongle as their site seems to be dying from traffic as of this writing.
