eVGA follows, launches its own GeForce GTX 200 cash back program
Hot on the heels of XFX’s cash back program for those who bought GeForce GTX 280 and 260 graphics cards before their prices collapsed, another supplier of Nvidia-based graphics cards, eVGA, has announced it too will reimburse part of the price difference to their customers. Hopefully other partners of Nvidia will continue to follow suit.
The card manufacturer will offer $60 and $125 cash back to those who acquired a GeForce GTX 260 or 280, respectively, between June 16 and July 7, on the condition that the cards were bought for full manufacturer suggested retail price from an authorized reseller. Credit for their online store is also an option, with early GTX 280 adopters getting $150 and GTX 260 owners $75. The offer is only running for two weeks, so if you bought an eVGA variant of these cards sign up for the reimbursement program here.
