Hit game "EverQuest" gets portable

As a Palm owner myself, I rather see more development and support on our side than on Pocket PCs, sure these kind of releases help Microsoft's based PDAs.

Ironically enough though, Sony is a Palm PDA manufacturer! I guess it's just that PalmOS 4.0 based PDAs aren't powerful enough...

Sony Online Entertainment [URL=http://news.com.com/2100-1040-965685.html?tag=fd_top]announced[/URL] Wednesday that it is creating a version of its hit online game "EverQuest" for Pocket PC handheld computers.

The portable version of the game, for handhelds running Microsoft's Pocket PC software, will feature many of the same characters and environments as the PC version, but it won't have online components or multiplayer capabilities, said Sean Kauppinen, a Sony spokesman.
