Dell’s netbook set to arrive this week
We've been expecting it for a while now, but Dell has just confirmed that they will be launching their netbook offering this week. The exact launch date for the system is still debatable, though, with some publications claiming it will be released tomorrow while others say the Inspiron 910 will debut on Friday.
Dell did not further comment on the leaked specifications for the tiny notebook, but if previous reports are accurate then we should expect the system to be powered by an Intel Atom 1.6GHz single-core processor, with up to 1GB of RAM, up to 8GB SSD storage and a choice of Ubuntu Linux or Windows XP. Other specs include an 8.9-inch screen, an option for Wi-Fi, three USB 2.0 ports, and a webcam. Pricing is still up in the air at this point, but some expect it to sit between $300 and $400.
