VMware releases Fusion 2.0 for free to existing users
Good news for virtualization fans out there. After several months of beta testing, VMware has finally announced general availability of VMware Fusion 2.0, its desktop virtualization software which allows users access to Windows applications on Mac computers.
According to the company, the new version adds over 100 new features and enhancements, including support for Unity 2.0 application sharing, mirrored folders, driverless printing, true multiple display support, 1080p HD video playback, and better Linux support. The new version is $79.99 for new users, and free for existing customers – which is great news considering it’s a major update.
