Own a Radeon card and plan on buying Far Cry 2 when it hits store shelves tomorrow? Well, then you might be interested to know that AMD has released a Catalyst driver hotfix in preparation for the upcoming first-person shooter.

The hotfix is available for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows XP and Windows Vista and applies to graphics cards from the Radeon X1600 series to the Radeon HD 4800 series. According to AMD, the new driver should improve Far Cry 2 performance for all card setups in DirectX 10 mode and boost frame rates in the DirectX 9 version of the game for those with CrossFire multi-GPU configurations.
