The release of Fallout 3, which is only six days away, has many gamers excited. Unfortunately for one of the most populated countries in the world, it seems that a last-minute decision will prevent any gamers therein from having a legal channel to get the game. Microsoft has opted to cancel Fallout 3's Xbox 360 release in India. Very little is mentioned about why Microsoft has made the decision, with only a vague blurb about "cultural sensitivities."

As the Xbox 360 version of the game was the only one planned for release in India, it effectively means that there will be no normal methods of acquiring the game in the region. Bethesda could change this, perhaps, by attempting PS3 or PC sales in India or offering an "altered" version of the game, though earlier in the year they announced that all versions of Fallout 3 would be the same.
