New Xbox Experience reviews hit the web

The New Xbox Experience is scheduled to launch next month, bringing with it a complete overhaul of the 360’s dashboard look and feel as well as Netflix movie streaming, new community features and more. While most of us still have to wait for the new interface, a handful of blogs and media outfits have been given early access to NXE – and, of course, reviews are already trickling out.

Overall, reviewers came out highly impressed with the revamped interface, which loses almost nothing from previous versions while adding a considerable new feature set to the mix. A couple of features I’m particularly looking forward to are the ability to copy games to the hard drive – which supposedly cuts down load times by 30 to 50 percent and reduces system noise by 7dB – and the new party feature that allows gamers to join up with friends and engage in different activities or games. Check out some initial impressions of NXE at Engadget, Gizmodo, and MTV Multiplayer.

If that part about copying games is right, I'm going to instantly have interest in the larger hard drives now. That noise loss alone is worth it.
