Windows 7 beta signup ends today
If you're tired of Vista, want to try something new, interested in beta testing or for whatever reason have been eyeing the progress of Windows 7, your time to participate in the beta is soon ending. For any who haven't already retrieved the image, Microsoft will be closing downloads by the end of the day. They sent out a reminder that if you want to snag it, Tuesday will be your last chance.
For those who start downloading it by then, Microsoft will still have the image available until Thursday, giving users with slower Internet connections time to finish the process. After the beta concludes they will be moving into release candidate phase, which may not have public releases like the beta. After today, it is either torrents or waiting for release if you want to try out Windows 7. So if you've been on the fence, get it soon – and don’t forget to check our useful guides.

Within a hour of playing with Windows 7 I kinda like it where as within the same amount of time when I tried Vista I hated it. I guess polishing a turd does help. |
