According to various dealers, Asus' Eee PC T91 has shipped to the US and should hit shelves throughout the week. The touch-screen netbook features an 8.9" LED backlit display with a resolution of 1024x600, as well as a swivel mechanism that allows it to double as a tablet device. It will house an Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz processor, Intel US15W chipset, 1 to 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 16GB SSD, 16GB SD card and 20GB of online storage which will be free for 18 months.

Other specifications include its 802.11 b/g/n wireless adapter, 10/100 Ethernet adapter, Bluetooth 2.1, VGA port, 3-in-1 card reader, .3 megapixel camera, integrated mic, headphone/mic jacks and stereo speakers. The T91 weighs approximately .96kg (2.12lbs), its battery is reported to last as long as 5 hours. It will ship with Windows XP and an optional 3G data connectivity, GPS and DVB-T TV tuner.

I haven't seen any official US pricing but converting the UK price of £449 and £499 gives an approximate cost of $734 to $815. Several dealers have an "available" or "due" soon notice on the page further enforcing that the T91 can be yours this week.
