Microsoft has now released the [URL=http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=8510F9C3-1679-482B-B903-2352B58AF584&displaylang=en]stand alone version of DirectX 9.0[/URL] for those of you wishing to have a local copy of the installation files...

I know I do, though it weights in at 31.8mb, because support for all these OS:es is in this one distribution: Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows XP

  2. That's very cool, but a little too late for me now...I much would have loved a download accelerator over that damn DX web setup...
