Eutechnyx, formerly known as both Zeppelin Games and Merit Studios Europe, has announced that it is working on a new MOBA titled Storm of Vengeance. The game will take place within the Warhammer 40k universe and is set to release sometime in 2014 for PC and mobile devices. Eutechnyx is describing their latest creation as a "lane strategy game" that takes place in the dark, gloomy, gothic-esque world created by Games Workshop.

The story of Storm of Vengeance is set amidst conflict on a planet called Piscina IV, and revolves around two main characters, Ork Warlord Ghazghkull Thraka and Grand Master Belial. The player's job is to valiantly defend the world as a battalion of Dark Angel Space Marines, or to join the dark side and seek the planet's annihilation as a member of the malicious Ork. There is no word yet on what to expect in terms of gameplay from this release, but it is important to note that this will be the first time that Eutechnyx is releasing anything other than a racing title. The company is known for its many high-octane adventures, including games like The Fast and the Furious (PS2), Auto Club Revolution (PC), and NASCAR: The Game 2013 (PC). They're also responsible for Ride to Hell: Retribution (PS3, Xbox 360, PC), a game that is touted by many as one of the worst titles to ever hit store shelves. Hopefully the horrible cloud that was left by Ride to Hell won't hang around the development process for Storm of Vengeance.
