Beatles Label Sues Apple

The Beatles management company said on Friday it is seeking a court injunction against Apple Computer Inc., insisting the computer maker's iTunes online music store breaches the band's trademark.

  1. I saw that last night and we discussed it a bit in the channel, I must say I was in the minority when I said that it was "just stupid" (there may have been a word left out in that quote :)). My opposition tried to show me the logic why they'd sue and I understood what they were saying, but it just didn't make much sense to me. I looked at it as why piss people like me off for the company to earn 1/2 a cent on a song, when people like me might not ever buy anything again from their record label, I'll just dl it instead.
