Benchmarks: CPU Performance
The throughput of the Asrock Ion 330HT-BD when testing with the MaxxPI² Prime test was 49% greater than the Gigabyte GA-GC230D, which features the single-core Atom 230 processor. This was an impressive gain, though still it was 80% slower than the AMD Athlon X4 600e system, delivering a fifth of the performance.
The Asrock Ion 330HT-BD improved on the Gigabyte GA-GC230D by an 84% performance margin for the Flops test and 99% for the Mips test. As a pattern that won't change throughout our testing, the Atom 330 is significantly slower than your typical desktop processor.
