Benchmarks: HD Tune Pro

The Kingston SSDNow V+ 180 64GB outperformed the SSDNow V Series 64GB in all three of the HD Tune Pro random read tests, and it performed well compared to the rest of the pack. Although the OCZ Onyx 64GB was faster when measuring the 512 bytes performance the SSDNow V+ 180 64GB was considerably faster in the 1MB and random file size tests.

The HD Tune Pro write performance varied. While the Kingston SSDNow V+ 180 64GB was much faster than the SSDNow V Series 64GB when looking at the 512 bytes performance it was slower when measuring the 1MB performance and considerably slower when measuring the random file size performance. Overall, the random write performance of the SSDNow V+ 180 64GB when testing with HD Tune Pro was very poor.
