The GeForce 8800 GTS 512 offers small performance gains over the 8800 GT at 1680x1050 and 1920x1200 while it was found to be much faster than the older 640MB 8800 GTS. Still the 8800 GTS 512 was noticeably slower than the 8800 GTX which was still the fastest graphics card tested. Using the 4xAA/16xAF settings the 8800 GTS 512 was unable to snatch the lead once overclocked as it still played second best to the 8800 GTX.
