The Core i7-5960X was 10% faster than the 4960X and 32% faster than the 4790K in Excel 2013 .

When testing with WinRAR we find that the Core i7-5960X is 4% faster than the 4960X when measuring multi-threading performance. Moreover, the 5960X was almost 40% faster than the 4790K.

The Core i7-5960X offered a 14% performance improvement over the 4960X when testing with Photoshop CC, which also works out to little over 40% faster than the 4790K.
