The Core i7-5960X provided a memory bandwidth of 46.2GB/s with its 2133MHz DDR4 memory which was 14% faster than the DDR3-1600 memory of the Core i7-4960X.

The L1 cache performance has been improved by 50% over the Core i7-4790K, as the Core i7-5960X hit 1.65TB/s. This also meant that the L1 and L2 cache performance of the Core i7-5960X is much faster than the 4960X.
