Before
the dot com bubble in the late nineties, and way before blogs were even called
blogs, it was 1998 and I found myself spending
countless hours on computers. I built a PC
technology website from the ground up that
after years of hard work and enjoyment turned into
what TechSpot is today. On a more personal note, I hold
a Master of Science Degree in Management Information
Systems and a Bachelor Degree on the same field
combined with Entrepreneurship. When I'm not working
on TechSpot, I
like to dedicate time to
family, friends and
sports. I'm a big
fan of tennis, soccer, and most recently football.
Catch up with me on the
TechSpot
Blog and/or
Twitter.

Computers have been my hobby and
work for some time now, ever since I got my first
computer, a Macintosh Color Classic (circa 1993). It
only made sense for me to major in Managed Information
Systems. On a personal side, I live in Guayaquil,
Ecuador. When I am not sitting in front of a monitor I enjoy spending time with friends, playing soccer, traveling (although I don't get the chance
so often), and lately playing with a Canon EOS while learning a thing or two about digital photography.

I live in Sweden and have been
into computing for as long as I can remember. I
devote most of my time keeping track of the latest
hardware and writing about it here on TechSpot. I
enjoy a good game for relaxation. When I'm not at my computer
I'm working as a mechanic for my friend Andreas who
rides a 250cc road racing motorcycle in the European
Championship, so if you ever want to meet me in real
life, go to the closest racetrack to you when the EC
in 250cc runs and buy me a beer ;-).

I live in
Guayaquil, Ecuador. I'm a Business Management major
and although I'm not fully into computer hardware, I do love the thrill of a
good multiplayer game. I have done some computer programming, C
language, back
in the day with Julio, we are good friends and go way back.
I am an outdoor person, I enjoy playing soccer and
spending weekends at the beach, hanging out with my
friends, watching TV or going to the movies.
I'm a big Simpsons and Star Wars fan.

A lifetime of
traveling from city to city and state to state gave
me a lot of time to figure things out on my own -
especially computers. I am fascinated with tinkering
and taking apart everything I own to find out how it
works. This had led me to pursue Computer Science
and Electrical Engineering in school. When I am not sticking a screwdriver into a computer, I am living alone and enjoying the serenity of the nearby beaches and rivers, as well as writing, swimming, and running. I often rebuild old computers to donate to friends and family. On the technical side of things, I am an avid
Linux and OSS supporter, and am big into overclocking/modifying older hardware to give it more life. I code in C++ and some x86 Assembler, and I maintain a page for satire and send-up commentary. My dreams are to go into DSP (Digital Signal
Processor) design and having my written works published.

During my late high school years I discovered gaming on computers and by the time I finished school in 2001 it was clear my future
would lay within the industry. Before I became interested in computer hardware I was somewhat addicted to online strategy gaming. This addiction also got me involved with website design as I was interested in the
Internet and how it worked. Being a hands-on technical person I soon moved away from games and developed an interest for the hardware that
ran and made the gameplay possible. Today I am still just as enthusiastic about computer hardware and I really enjoy how it is
ever
evolving. When I am not playing with computer hardware I enjoy fishing, driving and playing sports.

I started off my interest in Computers at a fairly early age, beginning with a Commodore 64, then Amstrad...
I've been working on TechSpot since the earlier days
of '3D Spotlight' and I would like to think have
always had an interest in getting something out of
nothing - hence all the tweak guides showing you
just that. When not busy writing an article I am
usually occupied reading a book, watching a DVD or
listening to a film score. Since starting here I
have finished college, now working in Equifax
Ireland, got married and last
October had a baby boy (well, my wife did anyway ;).

I started using computers about 20 years ago,
with a Commodore 64c and my own BBS called The
Danger Zone. I left the scene for a couple years,
then returned with a Compaq. From there, I started
overclocking like mad, and found myself very
interested in the hardware aspect of computers. Now we are TechSpot, and I must say I really found a
place that I enjoy being at. When I am not
computing, I enjoy my family (which is rather large
these days), lots of off-road riding on my Suzuki
and Yamaha, and trout fishing in a nice, crystal
clear remote stream.
