Offering comprehensive support for AMD's latest Dual-Core AMD Opteron(TM) processors, VIA K8 Series chipsets ensure full compatibility with next generation processing solutions
Taipei, Taiwan, April 21 2005, - VIA Technologies, Inc, a leading innovator and developer of silicon chip technologies and PC platform solutions, today announced comprehensive support for the latest Dual-Core AMD Opteron(TM) processors with its acclaimed K8 Series of core-logic chipsets.
As the industry transitions from single to multi-core technology for higher performance in multi-threading and multi-tasking environments, VIA is working closely with industry partners to ensure comprehensive platform support and unconstrained performance.
