i have a couple of scratches on my LCD, will scratch fixer patch the scratches?

Fix for small scratches

I had a small scratch on my 20 inch LCD that produced a rainbow effect when viewing a white background. I fixed it by rubbing some candle wax on the scratch and then using a slightly moistened soft tissue to remove excess wax from around the scratch. Now the scratch is not detectable.

My LCD is scratched, can i use that CD scratch fixer to fix the scratches?
