Version 1.0 made its debut on November 9th, 2004, seeking to replace the Mozilla browser with a lighter, quicker alternative. Remarkable to think it has only been five years, yet the growth and performance of these tools are so powerful, and working so well.
We all bow our heads to those guys on the team... many of whom never receive any compensation.

and many more years to come for firefox providing they can be innovative and maintain/improve secure browsing.

Props to Mozilla for giving us some options other than the big gorilla IE. For some reason, I thought they'd been around a lot longer than 5 years...

Just like TomSEA i also was under the impression that it was older, but i'm sure that it will still be here in another 5 year (version 10 on Win8 maybe?)
