Mikrosoft doesn't want its users to use Java. You are supposed to use .NET, XML, ActiveX, Directthis'n'that etc.. :giddy:

Please visit Windows Update (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com) to see if a Microsoft VM update is available for your operating system.
Which version of IE do you use? Java isn't included by default in IE6.
I doubt whether Sun's JVM works with IE, but it's here:

Yep, Sun's JavaVM works fine with Internet Explorer. Definitely get it, the Microsoft one is outdated.

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/download.html

Get the first JRE package (or the second if you're using non-English OS).

Installation instructions:

Thanks for the links...

Installed it and it works fine, but seems to run really slow...

Nothing like it was with Microsofts one.

Is there anyway i can get the original back on (microsoft's)???

Well you could try Sun's JRE 1.4.1 beta, I don't know if it's faster though. A slow Java is better than no Java, right?
All the links for M$ VM I've found are either obsolete or lead to M$'s site which tells to go to windowsupdate site.
As M$ doesn't call it Java, you may find something by searching for "Microsoft Virtual Machine".

Correction: I found a working link from a German site. I don't know which language the package is nor which version it is and I can't test it myself but at least it is MSVM.
