I've made this guide, and been updating it quite often
What do you think?

I need to know if there's any card missing, and just some feedback on the ranking.

I like the guide, its very good for like, reference to see the stats between cards easily.

Oh, one side question on one of the cards on your list, or rather two. I keep seeing reviews online for the 6800GS that show it "blowing away" the X1600XT. But heres the thing, your guide says its mem speed is like 1380 (and also the stats on anandtech in their real-time pricing), but on the reviews comparing it with the 6800GS it says 690. Is there something I'm missing here? Im confused haha.

It's easy.

It's 690MHz DDR (Double Data Rate, hence, 2 times, which is 1380Mhz effective).

And thanks a lot for the comments :).

i had this idea but federelli jumped it :suspiciou hehehe jk jk good job man im liking it.. should make like.. a legen or somethin.. like the green ones for the newest n best i guess and then the yellow for midrange or w.e.. and also.. try using solid colours.. my eyes hurt reading the yellow ones :unch: otherwise.. awesome stuff! :D

Although it'll be hard to come up with a list that gives you a definitive look on which card is faster in every application, you seem to be covering all the basics for a quick glance to the different GPUs available.

Nice work!

Whoa, thanks a lot guys, specially Julio. It really means a lot to me since making and updating this guide really took a long, long time.

I did't say it in the first post i don't know why, but this only reflects D3D performance. Making an OpenGL one would mean making a whole new list, knowing that Nvidia has a nice lead.

X1800 seems on par with the 7800, until u turn up the graphics options(FSAA, AF). Then, the X1800 really shines through. But its also more expensive than the 7800. So, I'd say the X1800 is better.

Federelli

THE X850 Pro is as powerful as the X800 XT, it is too low in the rankings.
Actually, the X850 Pro is better than the X800 XT on one aspect, the pixel fill rate. Everything else is Equal.

What??

No.

The X800 XT is way better, the following pipeline config Textures 16 / Pixels 16 / Z Samples Per Clock
It's ok where it is now.

I don't agree with a few things in your rankings:

I think you've placed the Radeon 9250 too high on your list. AFAIK, it's just a heftier 9200, which is a heftier 9000, being weaker than the 9000Pro, the Ti500, and the R8500.
On another notice, there is too much of a difference between the 9000 pro and the 9200 pro. They should be 1-2 places apart, either right above the Ti200 or below the Ti500.
The GeForce FX 5900 SE is only a tiny bit slower than the 5900XT and should be right below the 5900XT (the difference is irrelevant).

Otherwise, your list seems to be perfect. Good job ranking all those cards.

Well, you may be right about the X800 XT being 16 pips verses X850 having 12. Actually, you are right. But still, the x850 pro is way under the X850 XT and X800 XT and its pretty close. I think its even faster than some of the 6800s you have above it. It is certainly faster than the x800 pro, which you have it only one above this one an i blows the x800 pro away more than the x800 XT blows the x850 pro away.

yea u def. need to add the x1900 series cards to that list, the x1900xtx will go on top of course, alone it smokes the 512 7800 gtx, and also when it's crossfire vs. sli

Great list! A friend was just asking me about graphics cards and I don't understand ATI as well so it will be nice to have this list!

thanks!

Well the on ly thing its missing is the new X1900 line of GPUs. Since they are already available in stock and reviews are all over the place I would say it needs to be added.
