ASUS P4V8X-MX - No monitor input

Theory

Hey guys, I recently purchased this motherboard and installed it yesterday. I correctly installed the mobo, cpu and the cables to the hd and other components. I was wondering why my monitor does not power. I tried plugging it to my external VGA card (Radeon 9200) and the built in VGA. Nothing goes to the monitor. :confused:

P.S. I'm using a Intel Celeron 340 2.93GHz.

I used to have that mobo... its very reliable. Try plugging the monitor cable in the other way. I've found that they fit on the right way and the wrong way so try putting it the other way.
 
Thanks! The problem was my power supply was missing a special power adaptor .____. Anyways, thanks for the help guys!
