I am having problems and have had to replace my system/config file on two occasion sin the last 3 weeks - and rebuilt with latest xp pro with sp2 in it...I got the BSOD today and the culprit was the kmixer.sys

i have had multiple BSOD errors over last month and have a smeaking suspicion my mem is to blam - can i FIX it or do i have to replace it?

the question i have for cpc is this - do i even have the right ram in my MOBO?? here is what i built about 6 months ago///

i have gotten similar issues in the past while playign BF2 and had to rebuild system twice seemingly to no avail - still getting the BSOD with that latest kmixer.sys error........ does this sound like memory too??? do places like new egg warrant ram??

how is warranty on ram deterimned tho?

Check with your ram vendor for that info.

Some ram comes with a lifetime warranty.

I take it you`ve tested you ram and found errors?
