  1. I am trying to play a relatively old game in windows xp, i have changed the compatibility to 256 colour. However when i try to run the games it says:

One of the library files needed to run C:\MPS\GPM2\GPM2.EXE cannot load in the 16-bit Windows subsystem because it is a Win32 DLL.

I dont have a clue how to fix this??

Is this really a 16 bit machine, or is the detection incorrect? I cannot believe WXP would work on a 16 bit machine.
