256MB PCI Express™ x16 (DVI/VGA/TV-out) nVidia GeForce 6800
i think it is priced around 300 $
any suggestions on this card or others in its class would be nice :)
oh ya and what is the difference between a AGP card and a PCI

PCI Versus AGP

I don't have the expertise to say if the card is the best bang for the buck but I do know this.

AGP versus PCI: AGP is faster than PCI. BUT.. the 6800 you're looking at is a PCI Express which a whole new ballgame. PCI express is faster than AGP but to date, there are not any real programs out there that would need the extra bandwidth. Here's the kicker.. PCIExpress does not fit in a standard PCI slot so you would to buy a new motherboard also. If you go with the 6800, look for one of the AGP models just recently released.

That being said, I would just go with a 9800 Pro 256MB card myself that would end up costing about $250 less in the long run ($50 cheaper on the card and $200 for a new PCIExpress motherboard). But that's just my opinion.
