8 steps completed after antivirus 2009 infection and google redirect problems

I ended up taking my netbook to a computer repair shop. They delt with it very quickly and I had it back the next day. I haven't lost any files but they had to re-install windows due to the virus damage.

Thank you for your help! At least now I know how to protect my computer properly.
