9800SE and OPENGL

  1. Seafury Newcomer, in training

    I'm tring to run IL2: Forgotton Battles. It works fine in DirectX mode but reboots everytime I click fly in opengl mode.

    Anyone experience this? Would it be driver related?

    Any Suggestions?

    Windows 98 itself can fully support OpenGL. I would look to using different drivers as a solution.

    DirectX usually performs better than OpenGL on most home configurations.

    Reinstalling drivers should help, but still theres nothing wrong with running it on directx is there?

    I had problems with my 9800s and Catalst 3.9s - try a different set of drivers if you're using these.
