A Windows Vista conundrum, someone explain plz

C: properties says im using 25.3 GB

with all hidden files shown , i do properties of everything in the C: drive and theres only 14.1 GB ....

where is the extra 11.2 GB coming from?? is my hard drive lying to me? what a conundrum... someone please help

Well, it likely has some reserved for system restore that won't show up.
