I am the only person I know who owns a PS3. Why, I didn't go with the crowd, I watched the crowd. Everyone I know owns/owned a Wii and has gone through at least 3 Xbox 360s. The Wii owners got it for the family value/price. The Xbox owners got it because it was out first.

Nearly everyone with a Wii got bored quickly and use it to collect dust. Everyone with an Xbox suffered months of hassle. They had to continually return the item, buy coolers, install extra fans and A/C units in their room just for the Xbox. They don't mind the online membership fee though.

I watched this. I waited. I decided. I invested. Not being a fan of FPS games but rather RPGs instead, the big pull wasn't toward Xbox and all it's hassles. It's for my RECREATION. It's not to be a burden in my life. It's not to give me grief and force me to constantly WORK to keep it running. It needs to work without me running through hoops. I own It, it shouldn't own Me. I can leave it on for weeks running Folding@Home between game time at home, in Tampa, Fl in the summer, with little to no A/C running and only gets warm, not overheat hot.

I'm glad that the competition is fierce, for that's good for us consumers. Imagine how bad it would be if there was little to no competition. The next year or two will be a treasure for gamers(casual/hard-core) if it keeps up. Love your playtime. Do not hate people for having a different opinion. And run down the know-it-all @$$holes who troll to make the world a better place.

Ive still got my ORIGINAL xbox360 from launch . and a new xbox bought on jan 5th 09 . both still working flawlessly thank you . I hope activision drops the ps3 , I hope everyone drops the ps3 sony needs a good swift kick in their greedy stupid heads .
They take advantage of everyone , think they are the format GODs , try to force everyone to return their BUSTED ps3's back to sony and not back to the retailer so they can try and hide the true failure rates .
The video looks like crap all blurry compared to the 360 . Bluray looks crappy on any HDTV to be honest .
EA posting they have maxed out the 360 processor is total BS EA games are childish arcade rehashed CRAP . They couldn't max out a calculator watches CPU .

I'm a PS3 & PC Owner .. i think the PC bests all gaming platforms ...
& what i consider wierd is for PC owners that can spend 3x more than the value of a PS3 for gaming.

Or maybe this is pure jealousy, well i don't know it's up to you to tell me !!!

PS3 is great, with great exclusives (true) & the price is a good value & for developers it's a better ROI for not cracked.

Most (again said "most") Xbox360s lovers have a modded one - that's why they have the RROD, happens rarely to unmodded ones. This also explains the sales figures, for modded consoles have no warranty & those having lots of games have no choice than to buy another one.

I keep repeating myself here, the WII is the best after the PC, the Xbox360 is a great console but share most of its exclusives with the PC, the price is equal when considering buying addons or online services.

As a PS3 owner i will not go into saying the WII or Xbox360 are ..... (whatever you want to add that's mean or stupid (context-sensitive)) I say, I love my console, it has a lot to give to me, but developers saying it's not good because either they don't know how to work with it or think the other consoles are better .. they have to think twice! It is the ONLY uncrackable around & i say thank you SONY for the consideration about software developers!
