    Hiya,

I have set up a family tree website within a family tree provider. This website requires Adobe Flash to be downloaded in order to operate properly yet, if I download this programme, the above add-on causes the website to crash and cancel.

Is there anything I can do to rectify this?

    Adobe Flash Plug-in

    Hi Bobbie,

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I downloaded the uninstall Adobe Flash plug-in and ran it. I then went to my family website, where it said to install Flash Player, which I did.

I am afraid I got the same problem with crashing. It may be that that download is a bad connection.

Could you please give me the website of a reliable Adobe Flash Player download.

    Thank you

    I did.

Make sure the flash player is enabled:

    Open IE> Tools> Manage add-ons> find flash player> click to highlight> Enable.

There are two settings in the dialog box:
    1. Add-ons being use now
    2. Add-ons previously used.
