AIM virus

I clicked on a link and it ended up being a virus. Now I get so many popups, I can't restart my computer in safe mode to clean it, and everytime I start Firefox it freezes and just turns into a popup. So basically, I don't have safe mode and I don't have Firefox to use. How do I fix it? Thanks!

Have you tried to restore your PC and see if that helps? Then you could possibly get rid of it.
