  1. Alcatel OneTouch is bringing its debut Windows 10 tablet - or any version of Windows, for that matter - to the Consumer Electronics Show. The Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 is described as an entry-level slate with an 8-inch display running a version of Windows 10 Mobile that's optimized for tablets.

In lieu of revealing any solid specifications, Alcatel OneTouch tells us that the Pixi 3 will be customizable via colored skins and flip stand cases. The company also let slip that its small slate will have GPS, voice call and TV remote capabilities in addition to featuring both front and rear cameras. A Qualcomm chipset handles 4G wireless connectivity, the company said.

Pricing and availability for the Pixi 3 hasn't yet been revealed although we'll likely learn more about it at CES.

Alcatel OneTouch will also unveil its Pixi 4 family of devices at the show which includes 3.5-inch and 4-inch smartphones, a 6-inch tablet and a slightly larger 7-inch tablet. The line is described a premium entry-level devices that offer a comprehensive user experience in the areas of design, audio, camera and battery life.

There's even something for the little ones in the CareTime Children's Watch. This colorful watch includes GPS tracking, allowing parents to keep tabs on their kids at all times. It even acts as a mobile phone so parents can talk to their kids or send voice messages and vice versa. Parents can also set up a virtual fence; when a child wearing the watch leaves a predetermined safe zone, parents will immediately be alerted.

Again, Alcatel OneTouch is reserving specifications, pricing and availability until CES.

The kiddy watch sounds far more functional and sensible than an iWatch, or any smartwatch that I'm aware of because it actually has a use.

Looking forward to this 'entry level' windows tablet.
my next tech gadget low-cost purchase will be between an entry level windows 10 tablet such as the one featured in this article versus the current asus zenpad 7 (android 5.1 stock)

CareTime name has been stolen from a company called Fandabby Apparel

Sadly they stole the name from a not-for-profit clothing line!
