    Hi:

Does anyone knows how to install the Adsl modem Alcatel Speedtouch 330 in Fedora Core 3 using a USB port?
Please, be descriptive, because I´m new in Linux.

    Thanks.

You will probably have more luck if you take the source code version and compile it yourself - the prebuilt binary there is for fedora core 2.

Fedora core 4 is out on monday, I am sure.

Reading the help files called README and INSTALL in the source package is a good idea. They will contain the instructions to compile too.

You will probably have to install some devel packages to be able to compile anything. The needed packages may be listed in the README/INSTALL or you can figure them out when compiling fails.

If you really know absolutely nothing about unix then good luck :)
