All LGA775 heatsinks universal?

Quick question, will I be able to use all socket 775 heatsinks on a 775 core 2 duo proc?

It sounds logical but I don't want to break anything.

yes they are and they should be compatible with the heat output of the cpu because they are manufactured on a 65nm tech

Seeing that the Core2 Duo's run so much cooler than the P series, probly even stock cooling will be OK- except that Intel's fans seem to have a "buzz" sort of sound. All 775 compatible HSF's should be fine.
