I got MBM(motherboard monitor) running and I'm wondering if I'm looking at my cpu temp right? Should I be looking at CPU Socket or CPU Diode? My cpu socket reads 72*C and my cpu diode reads -1*C. Case is at 29*C. Please help!

The CPU itself either doesn't have a temp sensor or MBM doesn't know how to read it.

The socket temp is either a bit too high or it's some MBMs fault. Try resetting the computer (with the button, while looking at MBM) and going into BIOS setup. The temperatures showed there should be a couple of degrees below the ones reported by MBM because the CPU would cool a bit while rebooting.
