Anyone care to compare RAID 0 scores?

*Edit - I've added HD Tach & SiSoft Sandra 2004 scores as well

Would anyone mind comparing PCMark 2004 HDD test scores?

I have a 160GB RAID 0 setup (160GB x 2 w/ NTFS). The "catch" being one is IDE and the other is SATA.

    These are my scores:

    PCMark 2004 - www.futuremark.com
    XP Startup: 10.177mb
    Application Loading: 6.759mb
    File Copying: 42.812mb
    General HDD: 6.502mb

    HD Tach - www.simplisoftware.com
    Read speed MAX: 70.7mb
    Minmum Read: 24.4mb
    Average Read: 44.2mb

    SiSoft Sandra 2004 - www.sisoft.com
    Drive Index: 50.1mb/s
    Buffered Read 77mb
    Seq Read 70mb
    Random Read 7mb
    Buffered Write 56mb
    Seq write 66mb
    Random Write 11mb
    Access time 7ms

    System Specs:

    Athlon XP 2700+
    1536mb DDR 2700
    Radeon 9600XT
    RAID 0 with Promise Fast Trak s150 TX2+ (160GB x 2)
    Drive 1: SATA Samsung 160GB / 8mb cache / 7200RPM
    Drive 2: IDE Samsung 160GB / 8mb cache / 7200RPM

    Windows XP
    Promise Fastrak 150+ SATA/IDE controller

I'll run it on my RAID array and my Raptor once I get home. I don't think I've run 2004, only 2002.

Your Raptors will blow me away. ;)

I just have one 74GB Raptor, and two 120GB WD SEs in RAID0. Wish I had two Raptors though ;)

    Anyway here are my results...

    74GB WD Raptor
    Total: 5401
    XP Startup: 10.174MB/s (oooh...close)
    Application Loading: 8.653MB/s
File Copying: 27.736MB/s (can't expect one drive to beat two, especially on seperate controllers :))
    General HDD: 7.398MB/s

    WD Special Edition RAID0
    Total: 4075
    XP Startup: 6.894MB/s
    Application Loading: 5.693MB/s
    File Copying: 29.086MB/s
    General HDD: 5.315MB/s

That's certainly not as well as I'd hoped for the array. The Raptor did great. I wonder if the fragmentation of the drive has anything to do with it, I don't think I've defragged even since I've set the array up.

Looks like your Raptor puts up a nice fight against your RAID. ;)

Compared to your results, I would think my setup is performing about like it should.
