Aoc Monitor Goes Black When Changing Refresh Rate

I have a AOC G2460FQ monitor that is advertised to be a 144hz monitor. When I change the refresh rate to anything higher than 60hz it goes black and stays black until the settings revert. I have a GTX 750 graphics card and a Ryzen 5 1600 Processor. I don't think those would be the issue but I have not tried using the monitor with another computer. If I send it to the company to check out and fix I'm left without a monitor for 2 weeks so if there's any suggestions you guys have please tell me!!

Depending on resolution, your video card may not be able to generate screens fast enough. Ask AOC what works with their monitor.
