To be fair anything electronic made in PRC is a potential security vulnerability.

I'm guessing it's profitable to run business in China, therefore any company will do what's necessary to get that bag. Morals and ethics are not even in the discussion.

As for who gets my data, they are all equally bad for me. The only way to stop it is to not own devices that are a security threat, which is every electronic device made anywhere in the world.
