Application Support folder?

My mac won't finish installing an app. My friend say I must go to Application Support folder and create a folder with the name of the app. Can't figure this out. Can't Application Support folder.

Look in driveName::Library::Appliction Support

Try
cd ..
ls Library/Application\ Support
