ASRock K7VT2 power up problem

    Could anyone please help with a strange problem,
    built a new pc about a week ago no problems at all worked very well then 2 days ago the pc wont switch on power led on only pressing reset and the pc boots up ok and runs xp no problem until shut down. the only change has been a wireless keyboard and mouse added about 4 days ago.

    ASRock K7VT2 mobo
    XP 2000
    512MB PC2100
    Hitachi 120g HD
    Mercury 400w psu
    Gforce MMX 440 64mb DDR

    Thanx for any help you can give

    Check your front panel connectors. Seems you switched the Reset cord with the Power button cord.

    reset switch etc correct, only started doing this 2 days ago
    power on button only power led on after about 1 sec, then switches off pressing reset boots the pc up ok
