Asus A7N8X query

I'm putting the Corsair twinx 1024mb PC2700 DDR RAM in my A7N8X, standard not deluxe, board. These are 2 512mb strips. Should they both go in the blue slots, or one in the grey slot? Also do i have to alter my BIOS?

In my opinion you should put them into the mobo in ascendent order, (first one is grey) and the BIOS will recognize one slot after the other.

By the way what kind of videocard, CPU and power do you use ?

I have a Geforce4 Ti4800SE 128mbddr, 300w power supply, AMD XP2600+ cpu

do you mean - where do i sit ram to enable dual-channel DDR? Slots 1 (grey) and 3 (slightly apart blue) - then download the latest bios - install it - and on bootup it should read "Dual Channel mode"

Slots 1&3 and Slots 2&3 run dual channel. Slot 1 is next to CPU.
