Hi all hope someone can help.
ASUS P5LD2 R2.0 mobo
P4 Prescott 3.2
EVGA nVidia GeForce 7800GT (using VGA adapter for monitor)
Viewsonic Graphics Series G71f+ Monitor
This is killing me. I am either getting my monitor to turn on with "H/V frequency over range" and no bios beep or a bios beep and moitor does not turn on most of the time.
If I reset or power off/on 4 - 30 - tons of times I do get the monitor and a single bios beep and everything works perfect! 90% of the time I get one of the two results mentioned above. I have rebuilt and reset everything many times. I have already flashed bios to most recent update. Any suggestions? Please help!
...my wife is nagging the hell out of me when she has to sit there and reset the darn thing 30 times to get the monitor to turn on at boot!
