Athlon 64 3800, or 3800X2?

hello there!

i currently have an amd athlon 64 3800 single core which runs at 2.4GHz, however i have been given an athlon 64 3800X2 dual core which runs at 2.0Ghz, so therefore which one will be the best performing in XP and with games

the x2 will hands down, you may need to update your bios if you go with the x2, check with the motherboard manuf, or the computer manufacturer.
