when i tried to convert a clip from my camera to the computer i couldn't record the sound i mean the vdieo is recorded with no sound i tried many times
my friend also coplain about this problem

It is very typical for the video and sound to be recorded separately and then to be rejoined later. What software are you using to do the recording? Do you have the camera plugged into the sound card line-in?

You may need to record the audio separately, and then use an application like MPEG Audio Dub to join the two files together.

i work with the ATI software that comes with the Card (ATI multimedia Centre- TV)
it is difficult for me to record video and sound seperatly is there any good software that record them togethr

unfortunately, I'm a bit new to the video recording stuff. I imagine that software such as Adobe Premier has that option, but I dunno. Sorry. Most of the free stuff that I use records separately.
