ATI Radeon 9250 128 PCI plz help!

hey i got the video card above and installed in to my computer without reading the instuctions. i didn't uninstall the onboard video b4 i installed when i turned my computer on with the new graphic card in the computer turned on but no monitor. i took the card out and i am now stuck with a computer with no screen and won't even pick up that the keyboard is plugged in. should i bring the parts back and toss the computer or is there a way to fix this. it would be a huge help if some one could give advice...

sorry the computer is a dell dimension 2100 running winme if this helps at all

Onboard uninstals with nothing connected.

I'm Assuming XP,name your OS.
Did you plug the monitor into the ATI connection ?
This should get you to the desktop with Generic drivers.
Then install the ATI accelerated driver,Catalyst Control Panel and other software from the ATI cd.
Read the instructions,thats why you have them.
